Illumina has grown rapidly by offering exceptional standards of service delivered by specialists and backed by an empathy with the business sector. We have recently expanded our operational capacity and are looking to grow our client base rapidly. In order to do this, we are offering generous introductory commission to intermediaries who introduce vetted leads to the firm, who subsequently become fee paying clients.

Who should join the Referral Program?

Anyone who has regular contact with our target clients, who are:

  • Niche Retailers
  • Aged, Child & Healthcare Industries
  • Mining & Exploration Enterprises
  • Corporations & Multinationals

  • Business Owners, CEOs & MDs

Typically, referrers will be individuals or organisations who service these markets (accounting firms, management consultants, lawyers, business brokers, financial advisors, etc.), who wish to generate a substantial income stream from their existing contacts. There are over 1.2million SMEs in Australia, most of whom need some form of business adviser support. Of these, around 300,000 are of the size and have the outlook that makes them Illumina clients.

Referrers are required to assess whether targets fit the criteria to become an Illumina client and whether they have an interest in appointing a business consultant.

Common trigger points for a conversation with organisations’s about this may include:

  • Unhappiness or issues with current business
  • New start up
  • Lack of a breadth of service by current advisors
  • Funding requirements or growth challenges
  • Need for more management or financial information
  • Acquisitions or mergers

How will this work in practice?

Simply complete the Referral Form below. Illumina will contact the prospect regarding our consultancy services. Once we have established they are suitable for our services they will be taken on as a client.

How long would this process take?

Sign up can take anything between 1 hour to 3 months. It all depends on the speed with which the prospect is willing to move.

How will the commission share work in practice?

Once they have become a client, we will send you details of the total commission share due to you in order for you or your finance department to raise an invoice.

If 1 to 5 clients are received from referrer that use Illumina Consultancy Services the referrer receives 15% commission on all billings to clients, from 5 to 10 clients commission increases to 20%, 10 to 25+ clients commission is increased to 25%.

How Our clients already have a consultant – why would they change to you?

Ask them the question – has your consultant or advisor truly added any value to them? Have they saved them more money than they have charged? If they are unable to respond with a clear ‘yes’, there is a strong likelihood that the answer is ‘no’. If they do decide to move over to us, we will make sure the switch is incredibly easy. Our approach ensures that we understand their individual needs.

**Referral Program Rules & Restrictions

A “Qualified Referral” is defined as a referral submission for a person representing an organisation who is not already in the Illumina Business Consulting database at the time of such referral’s submission and who has his/her first assignment through us.

The referral must represent the professional’s first contact with Illumina and our client(s). The referrer must agree to have his/her name used for introduction purposes with the person being referred.

Illumina Business Consulting shall not be obligated to accept any referral and shall have sole and complete discretion over whether to enter into a relationship with a referral. We shall have no obligation to pay commissions on any referral that is not accepted. Illumina reserves the right at its sole discretion to determine if a referral payment is due and to whom.
